GOLDENAIRES CHOIR TO JUMP START MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
We invite you to join us at the Parsons Senior Center on Thursday, May 26 for the weekly singing of the Goldenaires Choir beginning at 10:30 am followed by lunch. The choir will dedicate the program to the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday. Plan to unite with us as we honor those thousands of men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy the freedom that we have.
MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY
The Tucker County Senior Centers will be closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. The centers will be open on the usual schedule on Tuesday, May 31. We hope that you will take a little time during the busy weekend to contemplate on the meaning of this very special day and give thanks for the freedom that is ours.
JUNE 23 PIRATE BASEBALL TRIP
Due to some possible cancellations we may have some extra seats for the June 23 Pittsburgh Pirate baseball game. If you are interested please call or stop by the center and place your name on the reserve list. In the case of cancellations those on the list will have first choice.
LOOKING AHEAD TO JUNE PARSONS CENTER OUTPOST
Due to the Senior Olympics scheduled for June 7 – 10 we will host the June Parsons Center monthly Outpost covered dish and program event on Monday, June 6 rather than Tuesday, June 7. Please mark your calendar and plan to prepare your covered dish to share with your friends and be with us to enjoy the food and fellowship.
