Saturday, November 23 at 7 am. Meet at the Canaan Valley Refuge Visitor Center for the “End of Migration Birdwalk”. Most migrating birds have gone and winter birds are settling in. Join volunteer Casey Rucker to find out which birds are still here. Dress for the weather and in layers. Wear comfortable walking boots or shoes. Bring binoculars, or use a pair of ours. If the weather is snowy and windy, or roads are impassable, the walk will be postponed until the next day at the same time. If bad weather continues into the next day, the walk will be cancelled.
