A MLK Holiday Birdwalk will be on Saturday, January, 18 @ 8 am. Start out your holiday weekend with a birdwalk. Come along with walk leader Casey Rucker to one of his favorites birding locations on Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Bring your binoculars-or borrow ours-and come along on this walk. Meet Casey at the Visitor Center (6263 Appalachian Hwy) to carpool to the birding spot. PLEASE NOTE: If the weather is snowy and windy, or roads are impassable, the walk will be postponed until the next day at the same time. If bad weather continues into the next day, the walk will be cancelled.
