Garrett College will hold Open House events for anyone interested in pursuing Adult Basic Education and GED Preparation training on Tuesday, July 23 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the GC Southern Outreach Center located at 14 North 8th Street, Oakland. Visitors to the Open House will be offered information on opportunities for adult learners to prepare for the GED®Exam to earn a Maryland High School Diploma as well as sessions to improve reading, writing, and math skills to prepare for a new career or advancement in a current job.
