Snowshoe Discovery Tour: Year ‘Round Birds of Canaan Valley- Sunday, February 23 @ 10 am. Most local bird species only make their home in Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge during the spring, summer, and fall. Only a few hardy species call our area their year-round home. Join local ornithologist Casey Rucker as we celebrate these birds. We’ll also try to spot signs of other animal visitors along the way. This will be an easy walk whether on snowshoes or on foot.
