Saturday, October 6, 8 a.m. Fall Bird Walk. Most of our summer residents have departed, but the year-round birds are busy preparing for winter. We’ll look for unusual birds moving through as well. Join Casey Rucker at the Refuge Visitor Center, where binoculars will be provided.

Central West Virginia Aging Services Health Fair and Flu Clinic will be Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Buckhannon office located at 8 North Spring St. from 8 a.m. to noon. Lab work and flu shots at a discounted rate. All participants will be given a free goody bag and refreshments will be served.
