Buckwheat Dinner
Buckwheat Dinner on Saturday, October 13 at St. John’s United Methodist Church from 4 to 7 p.m. All you can eat for an $8 donation to the St. John’s United Methodist Men. Also includes sausage, gravy and biscuits.
Historic Landmark Commission meeting
Tucker County Historic Landmark Commission will meet Monday, October 15 at 5 p.m. at the Tucker County Historical Society Museum. The Public is invited to attend this meeting.
Happenings at CVWR

Starving Artist Fundraiser
STARVING ARTIST FUNDRAISER FOR CELEBRATE RECOVERY, Saturday, October 13 at noon in the Parsons Church of God fellowship hall. Lunch will be provided. $45.00 per person. Ann Cosner will be doing a painting class for children, $20 per child.
Democratic Rally in Parsons
There will be a rally for Democratic candidates on Sunday, October 14, from 2 – 4 p.m. at Parsons Fire Hall. Diane Hinkle, Cory Chase, Kendra Fershee, Ed Larry, Stephanie Zucker.
