Food Handler’s Class
Tucker County Health Department will be conducting Food Handler’s Training classes at the Senior Center in Parsons on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Persons attending the class will be issued a food handler’s permit which will be good for two years. A $10 registration fee will be collected upon admittance. The classes will start promptly and late arrivals will not be admitted.
St. John’s Lutheran Church Celebration
St. John’s Lutheran Church, Third Street and Blackwater Ave., Davis, will celebrate its 125th anniversary. Organist and choir director Dr. Michael Koss will be featured, as well as bell soloist Reverend Ruth Bullwinkle, the bell choir and the vocal choir will perform at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 27. All are welcome to this free event. Refreshments will be offered following the concert.

Church of the Nazarene Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 27 at 5 p.m. and serving hot dogs and a drink.
Free Friday
Free Friday at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, October 26, at 6 pm.
A free meal of soups, sandwiches, chips, desserts, and drinks will be served. Everyone is welcome.
St. John’s Trunk or Treat
St. John’s United Methodist Church will host Trunk R Treat in their parking lot on October 27 from 6 – 8 p.m for trick or treaters with smores and hot chocolate.

Fall Festival
Come in costume and first walk is free. Cake and Anything Walk at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 at Parsons Volunteer Fire Department. Treat bags for children in costume. Sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary.
