Lenten Fish Fry
Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, March 15, at Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 6 p.m. 8oz. Fish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.
Board of Trustees Meeting
The next meeting of the Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees will be at the library on Thursday, March 21 at 5 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.

The following waters were stocked: Blackwater River; Dry Fork (Randolph, Tucker); Laurel Fork (Randolph); Red Creek; Shavers Fork (Bemis); Shavers Fork (lower section); Shavers Fork (upper section); Shavers Fork C&R; Spruce Knob Lake; Teter Creek Lake.
Parsons High School Alumni Meeting
The Parsons High School Alumni Association will meet on Thursday, March 14 at Little Andi’s Restaurant in Parsons at 5 p.m. The PHS Alumni banquet will be Saturday, May 25.
18th Annual Valley District Health Fair
The 18th Annual Valley District Health Fair at the Reedsville Fire Department will be Saturday, March 23 from 7 – 11 a.m. This health fair will provide everyone an opportunity to take advantage of screenings and advice to assess their medical health and prevent illness. There will be a gospel benefit sing for Dave Heckler 6 p.m. March 16 at the Parsons Senior Center. Everyone welcome.
Taco Bar Fundraiser
The Canaan Valley State Park Foundation is sponsoring a Taco Bar fundraiser at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at White Grass Ski Touring Center. $30.00 per person. Seating is limited.
