Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting
The next meeting of the Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees will be held at the library on Monday, September 9 at 5 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.
CVNWR Happenings
Saturday, September 7, 7 am. Late Summer Bird Walk. Summer is still here, but migration season is well underway. We’ll take stock of who is lingering, who has departed, and who’s passing through. Meet at the Refuge visitor center for a walk with Casey Rucker. Binoculars will be available.
Retired School Employees Meeting
The Tucker County Retired School Employees will meet on Thursday, September 12 at Little Andi’s Restaurant at noon. Discussions include current legislation and insurance benefits. All retired school employees are invited.
Author Visit and Book Signing
Five Rivers Public Library will host an Author Visit and Book Signing, Melinda Chambers, September 10, 4 – 5 p.m. at the library. Melinda has received five “Mom’s Choice awards and her books are written as lessons from nature, intended for “children of all ages.”
St. Paul’s Youth Yard Sale
St. Paul’s Youth Yard Sale will be Sept. 6 and 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the fellowship hall.
Friends of Cortland Acres Meeting
