Free Thanksgiving Dinner
The Blackwater Ministerial Association will be sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Thomas Educational Center, 324 Brown St., Thomas, at noon on Thanksgiving Day, November 24.
Everyone welcome. The meal includes Turkey, Stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes, gravy, green beans, dinner roll, coffee, punch, and pumpkin pie. Deliveries to those who cannot come, call 304- 866-6243 for information.
You don’t have to be AARP age to get Colon Cancer
Garrett Surgical Group and Cortland Acres invite the community to attend an informational discussion about Colon Cancer at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 in the Gathering Room at the new Blackwater Short-term Rehabilitation Center. Join Dr. Stephen P. Bayuk, D.O., as he explains the Colonoscopy procedure and discusses the benefits and guidelines. Light refreshments will be served.
