Ham & Bean Dinner
Ham & Bean Dinner, Saturday, November 18, 4 – 7 p.m. Held in the Fellowship Hall of the Leadmine United Methodist Church. Sponsored by Leadmine CERT. $8 for adults and teens, $4 for 5 – 12 year olds and age 4 and under FREE. Ham, Pinto or Great Northern Beans, Corn Bread or Hot Rolls, Home Fried Potatoes, Cole Slaw, Drink and Dessert. Carry outs will also be available.

Peabody & Wanda’s Famous Baked Steak Dinner
Peabody & Wanda’s Famous Baked Steak Dinner, 4-6 p.m., Saturday, November 18, First United Methodist Church of Parsons, $10 adults, $6 Kids 10 & under. Clover Crusaders Cloverbud 4-H Club collecting for food pantry
The Clover Crusaders Cloverbud 4-H Club is serving their hands to larger service this season by collecting non- perishable items for the Methodist Church Food Pantry. The food pantry is specifically asking for donations of canned milk and paper towels this month. “Giving Boxes” (donation boxes) will be placed at Parsons Shop ‘n Save and the WVU Tucker County Extension Office.
Free Thanksgiving Dinner in Thomas
The Blackwater Ministerial Association will sponsor the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Thomas Educational Center at noon on Thanksgiving Day,
November 23, 2017, all are welcome The meal includes Turkey, Stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes, gravy, green beans, dinner roll, coffee, punch, and pumpkin pie. There is no charge. Deliveries to those who cannot come,call for information (304) 866-6243.
Historic Landmark Commission to meet
The regular monthly meeting of the Tucker County Historic Landmark Commission will be held on Monday, November 20 at 5 p.m. at Siriani’s Restaurant in Davis.
