Free Friday
Free Friday will be held on Friday evening, January 26, at 6 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, in Parsons.
A meal of various soups, sandwiches, chips, desserts and drinks will be served, at no charge. Everyone is welcome.
Trout Stocking
The following waters were stocked: Laurel Fork (Randolph); Shavers Fork (Bemis); Shavers Fork (lower section); Shavers Fork C&R (Stuarts Park Recreation Area).
Ag Dinner Meetings
The WVU Randolph County Extension Service, in conjunction with the Tygart Valley Conservation District, will be sponsoring the annual Ag Dinner Meetings on Thursday, February 8 at 6 p.m. at 4-H Camp Pioneer in Beverly. Dr. Mark Alley will speak on beef cattle health, as a good herd health program is an essential part of any farm management program.
Winter Film Festival
There will be a Winter Film Festival, presented by Friends of Blackwater Thursday, February 8 at White Grass Ski Touring in Canaan Valley. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at EventBrite for $15 each.
