Lenten Fish Fry, Friday, March 23, at Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St. Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 6 p.m. 8oz. Fish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8.

Talk on Black Bears and WV Master Naturalist Program at Canaan Valley State Park
Steve Rauch, a wildlife biologist for the WV Division of Natural Resources will present a program about Black Bears at the Canaan Valley Resort State Park on Saturday, March 24 at 6 p.m. His talk will include information about bear biology, research, nuisance and management. Information on the WV Master Naturalist classes will be presented, classes begin April 6. St. John’s United Methodist Easter programs
St. John’s United Methodist Adult and Youth Choirs will host two Easter programs on Sunday, March 25 at 7 p.m. The Adult Choir will present “Halleluja! Praise the Lamb”, followed by the Youth Choir’s “Easter Musical Celebration”. Everyone welcome.
