Revival

Revival with Rev. George Moxley Starting Sunday Morning, April 29 – May 4. Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday -Friday at 7 p.m. at the Parsons Church of God. Everyone welcome


Spring Field Day

The Tygarts Valley Conservation District will host a free Spring Field Day on May 19 from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Home Farm in Elkins.
Everyone is welcome. The topic of the day is “Soil Health”. There will have segments on soil sampling, soil health, fertilizer and lime application, grazing management and brush removal. A light lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by calling the TVCD office at 304-457-3026.


Free Friday

Free Friday will be at the First United Methodist Church fellowship hall on April 27 at 6 pm.
A free spaghetti dinner will be served. Spaghetti, salad, bread, pie and drinks. Everyone
is welcome to attend.


A guided hike with Friends of Blackwater

A guided hike with Friends of Blackwaterat Blackwater Falls State Park, starting from the petting zoo area, from 1 to 3 p.m. on May 5.

Ramp Dinner

Mt. Grove Volunteer Fire Department is having a ramp dinner from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6. Full menu all you can eat, adults $10, children 6-11 $5, children under six eat free. 1671 Slaubaugh Rd. Eglon. For information call Dennis Roth 304-698-6444.


Annual Gary “Lippie” Lipscomb Golf Tournament

The Davis P & R Commission, Inc./Riverfront Ramblers RFI Team are proud to host the second Annual Gary “Lippie” Lipscomb Golf Tournament on Saturday June 2 at Holly Meadows Golf Course in Parsons. All proceeds benefit the Davis Riverfront Park/Playground area.


Bean Cornbread Dinner

The Hambleton United Methodist Church will have a bean, cornbread, potato dinner with dessert and drinks on April 28 from 4 – 7 p.m. There is no charge, donations accepted.


“The Lion King, Jr.”

Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School’s musical production of “The Lion King, Jr.” will be April 26-27 at 6 p.m in the Tucker Valley Gymnasium. Adults – $5, Students -$3, 4 and under – Free
