Call for Submissions: 9th Edition of Eagle’s Nest Literary & Art Magazine
Submission Types:
Fine Arts: Illustration, Painting, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Graphic Design
Creative Writing: Poetry, Short Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction
Submission Guidelines:
Fiction and/or creative non-fiction should be no more than 1,000 words and submitted as a Word doc.
Poetry of any length up to two pages should also be submitted as a Word doc.
All Fine Art should be submitted as a JPG only.
Previously produced work is welcome for submission.
Submission Deadline: May 15, 2024
Publication Date: TBD
We welcome everyone to submit their work, and we encourage you to spread the word among your creative circles.

Please note that all artists retain rights to their artwork. Additionally, after publication, select pieces may be chosen for feature on merchandise sold through the Foundation Gift Shop. Revenue from these sales will be split between the owner and the Eastern Arts Society to support its activities.

Art Club
Art Club will be held on Wednesday, April 17 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. | Student Lounge at Eastern’s Main Campus
Pysanky egg painting will be the theme!
Feel free to bring whatever materials you would like with you. There are also materials you can use during the club. Participation in the theme of the month is not required.
This is free and open to the community to attend!

Board at College: Game Club
Join Eastern’s Board at College: Game Club! We are a welcoming group that is always open to new members! This club is open to the community and free of charge. Come play on the last Thursday of each month in the Student Lounge from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Snacks and games are provided by Eastern!
This is a club dedicated to offering a fun, safe space for students, staff/faculty, and the entire community to get together and play board games, card games, and a variety of tabletop games. Unleash your inner strategist and enjoy an inclusive space to de-stress and make new friends.
Got a game at home that you’ve always wanted to play? Simply bring it with you to any of our meetings or enjoy playing one of the many games from our extensive collection featuring Codenames, Trash Pandas, Ticket to Ridge, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Sequence, plus many, many more. The collection will continue to grow so check this page often for updates.
