Bi-monthly Library Meeting
The next bi-monthly meeting of the Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees will be held at the library at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 20. The meetings are open to the public.
Food Handlers Class
James Snyder will be conducting a Food Handler’s Class at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 12 at the Lady of Mercy Social Hall.
Farmer’s Market
The Taste of Tucker Farmer’s Market is open at Mill Race Park from 9 a.m. – noon Wednesdays and at the Courthouse Square from 9 a.m. – noon on Saturdays. The Thomas Farmer’s Market will be open from 4 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Cakewalk
There will be a cakewalk at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 15 on the Courthouse Square. Proceeds for OES.
Health Care Forum
WV Highlands Indivisible will host a health care forum at the Parsons Senior Center at 6 p.m. on July 25.. Lisa Diehl of WV’s for Affordable Health Care will present information about the changes to healthcare being considered in Washington. Local medical providers will be invited to share what they know about proposed changes. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and share their concerns. TCHS Cheerleading Tryouts
Tucker County High School Cheerleading tryouts begin July 31st at 7am in the TCHS gym. If you are interested in trying out for the team call 304-478-2771 for details and conditioning dates. Must have a current WVSSAC physical form to participate.
