Cake Walk

The Lions Club is having a cake walk at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 on the Courthouse Square. The event will be canceled in case of rain.


Cakewalk

Hambleton Park Cakewalk Friday June 23 at 6 p.m. Proceeds go toward upkeep of the park and utilities. Donations of baked goods appreciated.


Movie Night at the Five Rivers Public Library

Monday, June 26 at 6 p.m. on the Big Screen Showing “The Cokeville Miracle”
Children who were held hostage in their elementary school tell stories of miraculous things, but many adults are skeptical that the Cokeville Miracle ever truly happened. Rated PG – Run time 94 minutes. Free snacks and drinks. All welcome – Free Community Event


Summer Movie Days at Five Rivers Public Library

Enjoy a break from the summer heat and watch a movie on the big screen. From 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.on Wednesdays.
June 28 showing “The Secret Life of Pets”
July 5 showing “Trolls”
July 12 showing “Pete’s Dragon”
July 19 showing “Storks”
July 26 showing “BFG” (Big Friendly Giant)
August 2 showing “The Wild Life”
August 9 showing “Middle School: The Worst years of My Life”
Snacks and drinks provided – All Movies are rated PG
All welcome – Free Community Event.


Benefit Spaghetti Dinner

There will be a benefit spaghetti dinner for Tony Lewis from noon – 4 p.m. Sunday, June 25 at the Aurora Fire Hall. Profits from dinner, raffle and door prizes go for a bone marrow transplant and chemo treatments.

Gospel Sing

There will be a gospel sing from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, June 23 in Mill Race Park. Benefits go for medical expenses for local familes.

Free yoga classes at Mill Race Park every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m.
The classes are sponsored by PRO On Trac and AmeriCorps. Everyone Welcome!
