Friends of Cortland

Sunrise Service

On Sunday, March 31 The Hendricks Free Methodist Church will have Sunrise Services at 6 a.m. with breakfast after. The Easter Service will begin at 10 a.m.

Children’s Easter Program

The Hendricks Free Methodist Church will have a Children’s Church Program at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 titled Jesus is Alive, refreshments will follow. On Friday, March 29 there will be a Good Friday service at noon.  

CPR Class

The Canaan Valley Volunteer Fire Department is going to have a Community CPR Class beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 6. The cost is $20 with an additional $5 if you want an extra pocket mask.    

Food Handler’s Class

There will be a food handler’s class at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17 at the Mt. Grove Community Building. If this is work related there will be a $10 charge. If you are a volunteer the class is free.
