State v. James Sisler Madison Crane of the Public Defender Corporation serving Preston and Tucker Counties, represented Sisler in his arraignment. Sisler appeared in person. Tucker County Prosecuting Attorney Savannah Hull Wilkins Represented the Prosecution in the two count Grand Jury Indictment of the 32 year old. February 10th the Tucker County Grand Jury returned a two count indictment for the following: Count One for Grand Larceny, a felony and Count Two of Obtaining Money by False Pretenses, a felony. A previous $25,000 bond was released in lieu of the new $10,000 cash asserity bond issued by Judge Shaffer. A no contact order was also granted. Sisler was also instructed to submit waivers of extradition to the court in order to shop in nearby Maryland. Sisler plead Not Guilty to the charges. A pretrial hearing was set for April 28th.
State v. Leslie Jamerson Madison Crane of the Public Defender Corporation serving Preston and Tucker Counties appeared for the defense. Jamerson did not appear in court. Tucker County Prosecuting Attorney Savannah Hull Wilkins represented the Prosecution in the case. Wilkins stated that the defendant was currently found to be living in Nebraska. She had been arrested and pleaded through a magistrate, according to Wilkins. The magistrate case had been dismissed. The Jamerson case had been granted a Direct Indictment by the Grand Jury on February 10th. The prosecution asked for a capius petition to be granted by the court, which was granted and issued an arrest warrant for Jamerson.
State v. Cody Foster No representation for the defense appeared for this case. Tucker County Prosecuting Attorney Savannah Hull Wilkins made arguments for the Prosecution. The case was a Direct Indictment. A warrant had been issued through the Magistrate Court, according to Wilkins. Foster had been unable to locate and serve. The other case had been since dismissed. Foster has since been located in the Allegheny County Jail in Maryland, Wilkins said. Wilkins requested that a capias be sent to the Allegheny County Jail to hold Foster. The motion was granted effective March 10th at 3 p.m. by Judge Shaffer.
