The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Joseph A. Peaslee, Jefferson, Maine, was cited for impeding traffic by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Charles Dale Davis, Potosi, Mo., was cited for obstructing traffic and over-length for designated highway by Trooper J.M. Hebb. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
- Matthew T. Savage, Oakland, Md., was cited for speeding 59-45 by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Ryan David Seigh, Terra Alta, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Shannon Rose McCauley, Elkins, was cited for failure to use due care by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Leland T. Sloan, II, St. Albans, was cited for speeding (54-45) by Sr. Trooper Cornelius. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Randall J. Heckler, Lancaster, Pa., was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.d. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Lukas D. Stevens, Parsons, was cited for was cited for hunting without permission by T.L. Fluharty. He was assessed fines of $20 and court cost of $165.25.
- Bian E. Putlouis, Davis, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Kyle F. Rooke, Thomas, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Justin L. Knapp, Ravenswood, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Benjamin B. Bowman, Tunnelton, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Seth K. Millican, Parsons, was cited for speeding (64-55) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- David Allen Poling, Parsons, has been charged with Domestic Assault and Brandishing. According to the complaint, the defendant’s mother, 82 year old Maria Poling, stated that the defendant allegedly threatened several times to harm her. On Thursday, July 9 he allegedly took a metal bar and threatened to beat her with it, shaking it towards her. She ran from the residence and went to Tucker 911 Center. He has also threatened to burn down the house. He was arrested and a cash bond of $3,000 was not entered.
- Sharon Ray Smith, Hendricks, has been charged with Trespassing. The criminal complaint states that on June 25, the State Police were called by Elva D. Heckler in reference to a trespass on her property. Mrs. Heckler advised that she and her husband have allegedly been having issues with Mr. Heckler ex-wife Sharon R. Smith. A no trespass order was served on Smith stating that she was only to come to the bottom of the driveway to pick up a child for visitation. Allegedly, Smith came to the house and blew the horn for the child and used profanity towards Heckler. Video proof shows Heckler at the house and she was on the property again on July 9. Heckler posted a $500 PR bond.
- Nicole Ellen McClung, Parsons, has been charged with Domestic Battery and Domestic Assault. According to the criminal complaint, on Sunday, July 5 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Cpl. D.W. Burge, of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, was called by Tucker County 911 in reference to a Domestic Battery. Marshall McClung called 911 and advised that his wife, Nicole McClung, had allegedly beaten him in the face with a wooden stick while he was sleeping. Mr. McClung had traveled by foot to the Sheetz parking lot and was met by Burge. McClung stated that his wife had allegedly hit him with a broom handle and showed Burge the marks on his back. McClung showed Burge marks on his back consistent with these allegations. He states that he was asleep and woke from his sleep with his wife hitting him in the face with a wooden stick. Burge observed a bruise and red marks under McClung’s left eye.
- On Monday, July 6, just after midnight, Burge observed Nicole McClung travel to the Sheetz parking lot and she asked to give a statement. Burge contacted Chief Deputy E.C. Surguy to assist. Mrs. McClung advised that around noon on Sunday, July 5 she was in a verbal altercation with Mr. McClung. She advised that her husband attempted to take her bag from her and she hit him in the face with her hand. She advised that she was allegedly dragged down the stairs and her husband jerked her around, knocking her to the ground. She advised that she had her husband’s cell phone and as he attempted to get the phone, he pushed her into the stairs and held her there. She showed Burge red marks on her left arm and leg. She also advised that around noon on Sunday she had struck her husband in the back with a broom handle.
- Deputy Surguy assisted Burge in the arrest of Marshall and Nicole McClung for Domestic Battery, and Nicole McClung for the additional charge of Domestic Assault. Both were transported to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
- Nicole McClung posted a PR bond of $5,000 for one charge and a cash bond of $5,000 was not entered for the second charge.

The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Heather Lynn Nicklow received judgment of No Contest plea for one count of driving while license suspended or revoked. This occurred on May 16 and she received a fine of $100 and court cost of $165.25. She also received a No Contest plea for one count Speed Limitations which occurred on May 16. She received a fine of $9.50 and court cost of $165.25. This case was ordered and adjudged on Tuesday, July 7 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- Marshall Clayton McClung, Parsons, received a guilty plea for one count of operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an approved motor vehicle alcohol test and lock system. This occurred on April 16. He received a fine of $100 and court cost of $165.25. He was also ordered to 30 days in jail with credit of five days already served. This case was ordered and adjudged on Thursday, July 9 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- Maryanne E. Risley, Parsons, received a No Contest plea for one count making, issuing, worthless checks on Oct. 11, 2014. She was ordered to pay cost and fees of $190.25 and make restitution of $101.21. She also received a No Contest plea for one count of making, issuing, worthless checks on Dec. 13, 2014. She was ordered to pay cost and fees of $190.25 and make restitution of $90.31. These cases were ordered and adjudged on Monday, July 6 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- Mobley verses UPS Freight, Cargo Claims Depa: The case was found in favor of Mobley to receive the amount of $194.95 plus court cost of $70. The defendant failed to appear and judgment was given to plaintiff on Wednesday, July 1 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
