Charles Dawayne McClaskey, Davis, has been charged with Obstructing an officer and Disorderly Conduct. According to the criminal complaint, on Sunday, Nov. 15, Deputy C.R. Donelson, of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department, was dispatched to Hendricks Hill Road for a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival Donelson allegedly observed the defendant yelling profane language at Fire personnel on scene. Donelson advised the defendant to watch his mouth, stop using profane language and walk to his car. Allegedly while walking to his car, the defendant continued using profane language. At this time the officer asked the defendant his name and he refused to answer and continued using profane language. Donelson allegedly advised the defendant that he was under arrest and to turn around and place his hands behind his back. At this time, the defendant allegedly refused to do as instructed and attempted to pull away from the officer. Donelson then allegedly put the defendant on the ground to gain control and placed handcuffs on him. He posted a $600 PR bond and a court hearing is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2016 before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
