The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

  • James E.Weiner, Philadelphia, Pa. was cited for speeding (60-45) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Britteny L. McNemar, Lost Creek, was cited for speeding (60-45) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • C. Gorda Floyd, Spartansburg, SC was cited for failure to maintain control by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $.475 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Joshua D. Herron, Thomas, was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Denver P. Echard Jr. French Creek, was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Herman R. Burns Jr. Thomas, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of 425.
  • Mysti D. Glogan, High View, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.

The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • Christopher Drew Carroll, McKenny, Va. was charged with DUI first offense. According to the complaint, on Sunday, April 3, Carroll was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee of WV32 when he ran off the roadway into a ditch. When Cpl. D.W. Burge of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police arrived on the scene he observed Carroll standing near the vehicle. He allegedly advised Burge that he was the driver and he had consumed two or three beers. He was asked if he had consumed any alcoholic beverage after the accident and he allegedly said no. Burge administered the standard field sobriety tests on Carroll and he failed all of them. He also failed a breath test. He was transported to the Parsons Police Department and a secondary breath test registered .204 BAC. He posted a $1,330 PR bond and a court hearing is scheduled for May 6 at 9:30 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.

The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • State of West Virginia verses Brenda Lee Louk: Kerens, She received judgment of guilty verdict for four counts of petit larceny which occurred on March 14. She was assessed cost and fees of $165.25 and received a jail term of one year for each charge to be served consecutively. This case was ordered and adjudged on April 6 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
    State of West Virginia verses Brenda Lee Louk: Kerens, She received judgment of dismissed by Mag-State-No Fee for one count shoplifting-conceals merchandise which occurred on March 16. This case was ordered and adjudged on April 6 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
  • State of West Virginia verses Jeffrey C. Moss: Morgantown, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count Battery upon another by making physical contact with force capable of causing pain or injury which occurred on Dec. 20, 2015. He was assessed cost and fees of $165.25 and received a one year suspended jail term with one year of unsupervised probation. This case was ordered and adjudged on April 5 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
  • State of West Virginia verses Jeffrey C. Moss: Morgantown, received judgment of dismissed-plea agreement for one count Battery upon another by making physical contact with force capable of causing pain or injury which occurred on Dec. 20, 2015. This case was ordered and adjudged on April 5 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
    Willie Hedrick verses Eric L. Mullenax: This case was found in favor of Hedrick in the amount of $2,038.82 plus $95 court cost. Magistrate William M. Miller was in charge of this case on April 5.
