The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Dalton A. Miller, Gormania, was cited for driving suspended by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
Austin K. Vanmeter, Elk Garden, was cited for no insurance and expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The first charge was dismissed with proof shown and he pled no contest to the second charge. He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Alexandra Tatiana Church, Davis, was charged with one count of Battery and one count Disorderly conduct. According to the complaint, Deputy B.T. Zirk of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched by Tucker County Communications (911) to 41 Maple Grove Lane in Davis to assist EMS personnel. He was advised EMS was on the scene with a female, identified as the defendant, who has suicidal ideations. While on scene Zirk was advised that Church was allegedly found sitting in the roadway before she was picked up and taken home. He was advised that she allegedly hit her roommate. The roommate stated she did not want to press charges. Once the defendant was in the ambulance she became very belligerent towards both EMT’s and Deputy Zirk. He told her she needed to stop. EMT’s placed soft restraints on her to insure her safety as well as everyone else on board. Zirk returned to talk to the roommate and while speaking with her EMT Rowan advised him that Church had removed herself from the restraints and began to hit/kick EMT Rowan. EMT Strait was also on the ambulance during the incident. Zirk again advised the defendant that she needed to stop. She continued to yell and use profane language. Zirk placed her under arrest and when he asked her questions such as her name and date of birth she answered with profanity. He transported her to Tygart Valley Regional Jail. A cash bond of $100 was not posted but a $1,100 property/surety bond was posted. A bench trial is scheduled for March 28 at 11:30 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following case has been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Bank of American N.A. verses Helmick: On Feb. 13 the court found in favor of Bank of America N.A. against Heather M. Helmick in the amount of $3,208.06 plus $95 court cost. This case was heard by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
