The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Zachary E. Gower, Fredericksburg, Va. was cited for expire MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Kylee Yeater, St. Mary’s, was cited for speeding (35-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Dustin L. Dreves, Montrose, was cited for no proof of insurance by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $200 and court cost of $165.25.
- Dustin L. Dreves, Montrose, was cited for speeding (75-65) and expired MVI by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $165.25.
- Summer C. Martin, Hambleton, was cited for improper registration, Driving without operators and no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest to all charges and was assessed fines of $209.50 and court cost of $495.75.
- Matthew J. Burns, Arnold, Md. was cited for speeding (35-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Audrey J. Harley, Fredericksburg, Va. was cited for speeding (69-55) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Rodney I. Palubicki, Davis, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Brittany A. Day, Maysville, was cited for improper registration by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Brittany A. Day, Maysville, was cited for no seatbelt and no proof of insurance by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $225 and court cost of $165.25.
- Andrew J. Myers, Osceola Mills, Pa. was cited for speeding (79-65) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Dale R. Shiflett, Thomas, was cited for no insurance, expired MVI and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest to all charges and was assessed fines of $209.50 and court cost of $495.75.
- Jason M. Lee, Morgantown, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Eugene B. Lanham, Shinnston, was cited for no trout stamp by WVDNR. He was assessed fines of $20 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Lynard Dale Nestor, Parsons, was charged with one count destruction of property. The complaint states that on Tuesday, Jan. 8 Deputy C.A. Teter of the Tucker County Sheriff’s office received a complaint of destruction of property from the Tucker County Commission in a holding cell in the Tucker County Courthouse Annex. Teter observed several things that had been scratched into the painted cell door including sexual graffiti, initials and the name Nestor. The defendant was in the holding cell at the time of this damage. There are supplies and labor needed to repair the damage. He posted a $500 PR bond and a bench trial is scheduled for April 23 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- Marshall Dwaine Parsons, Jr., Hambleton, was charged with one count domestic battery. According to the complaint on Friday, Feb. 22 the victim, Morgan Parsons, reports that the defendant was distraught about his building and began verbally taking it out on her. She states that the accused allegedly began punching her in the head and hand. She did have bruising and swelling on her right hand. A witness on scene advised she saw the accused allegedly push the victim. A cash bond of $2,500 was not posted and a compliance hearing is scheduled for April 4 at 1:30 p.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Morgan Lynn Parsons, Hambleton, was charged with one count false information to Trooper. The complaint states that on Monday, Feb. 25 Cpl. D.W. Burge and Deputy B.T. Zirk traveled to the residence of Marshall and Morgan Parsons located at Hendricks Hill in an attempt to locate Mr. Parsons for an active arrest warrant. Burge spoke to Mrs. Parsons at the residence and asked if her husband was there. She advised Burge that he was not at the residence and she had not seen him. He asked her if she would consent to a search of the residence and she consented. Officers searched the residence and located Parsons in the basement hiding in a corner under a blue exercise mat. Zirk arrested him for the active warrant and Burge arrested Morgan Parsons for false information to a State Police Officer. A cash bond of $1,500 was not posted and a bench trial is scheduled for April 23 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following case has been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Janice Mann, Thomas, received judgment of no contest plea for four counts of issuing, making worthless checks. She was assessed fines of $4, cost and fees of $761 and must make restitution of $1,729.08. This case was heard on Feb. 14 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
