The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Sarah D. Shipley, Davis, was cited for no operators and no child restraint by Deputy C.R. Donelson. She pled guilty to both charges and was assessed fines of $29.75 and court cost of $330.50.
- Sarah Shipley, Hambleton, was cited for driving without operators and no WV MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
- Sarah Shipley, Hambleton, was cited for no seatbelt by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She was assessed fines of $25.
- Cole J. Cohen, Newfield, NJ, was cited for speeding (74-65) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. The charge was dismissed.
- Felisha D. Waybright, Elkins, was cited for speeding (69-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Jason Allen Adkins, Hendricks, received judgment of preliminary hearing waived for one count forging, uttering or attempting to employ as true, a forged writing to the prejudice of another which occurred on Oct. 16, 2018. This case was bound over to the Tucker County Circuit Court on March 19 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Miners and Merchants Bank verses Snyder, The court ruled in favor of Miners and Merchants Bank against William Robert Snyder in the amount of $249.37 plus $75 court cost. This case was heard on March 27 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- State of West Virginia verses Frank Willard Long, Jr., Montrose, received judgment of Guilty-plea agreement for one count knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without valid prescription and one count driving under influence of controlled substance or drugs (Habitual User). He was assessed fines of $100; cost and fees of $240.25 and credit time served of one day. This case was heard on March 21 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- State of West Virginia verses William Robert Snyder, Thomas, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count failure to pay for gasoline. He was assessed fines of $100; cost and fees of $165.25; time served of 24 hours and restitution of $20 to Jim’s Allstar. This case was heard on March 26 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
