The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Leana M. Johnson, Parsons, was cited for expired operators and no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
Michael B. Howell, Hambleton, was cited for no registration by D.B. McFarlan. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Barbara J. Kendrick, Jeffersonville, IN, was cited for defective equipment by Cpl. B.T. Zirk. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Lindsay B. Herron, Thomas, was cited for no insurance and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The first charge was dismissed with proof shown and she pled no contest to the second. She was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Sean G. Walters, Morgantown, was cited for no WV MVI and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
Allison N. Crites, Fairmont, was cited for speeding (26-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Vincent A. Moats, Hambleton, was cited for Trespassing Livestock by D.A. Sliwinski. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $50 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Frederick Stephen Herz, Milton, was charged with three counts of Failure to pay Hotel/Motel taxes. According to the complaint on April 16, Chief Deputy M. Sigley was advised by the Tucker County Sheriff Tax Office that the Hotel/Motel taxes were paid for approximately three months for Timberline Four Seasons Resort. The monthly dates that were paid were for January, February and March of 2019. Sigley was advised that the taxes for Hotel/Motel are due by the 15th of each month. He received copied documents from the Tax Office of the payments dated April 16, 2019. The payment received for Timberline Four Seasons Resort was approximately $909.15.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Chambers verses Goss: On May 30 in this case the court granted judgment of Vacate premises and pay court costs of $75 by June 8, 2019. This case was heard by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
State of West Virginia verses Jose Alexander Henniquez-Reyes, Temple Hills, Md. received judgment of guilty plea for one count driving impaired and one count driving left of center. He received credit of one day of time served, fines of $104.75 and court cost of $405.50. This case was heard on May 16 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
State of West Virginia verses Heather Nicole Craun, Thomas, received judgment of guilty plea for one count cruelty to animals. She was credited for time served of 45 days, must pay court cost of $165.25 and prohibited to own animals for a period of five years. This case was heard on May 16 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
