The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Mitchell L. Cooper, Harman, was cited for open container by M. Sigley. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25/
- Casey L. Jones, Point Pleasant, was cited for failure to wear seatbelt while operating a CMV by Charles Dyer. He was assessed fines of $25.
- Stacey Lobatos, Washington, DC was cited for speeding (69-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
- Harold A. Schmidt, Friendsville, Md. was cited for failure to wear seatbelt while operating a CMV by Charles Dyer. He was assessed fines of $25.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Tina Marie Jones, Davis, was charged with two counts of Trespassing. According to the complaint on Monday, April 1 TFC J.J. Schmidle was dispatched to the Davis Shop-n-Save in reference to a trespassing complaint. Once on scene he was advised that Tina M. Jones had been in the store on March 30 and on April 1. He was advised that she had been issued a no trespassing order in December 2018. He was further advised the office manager had left for the day and would not be in until the following day. He was informed the office manager had video of Jones entering the building and an employee allegedly had spoken with her advising her she was not allowed to be in the store. On Tuesday, April 2 Cpl. Burge arrived at the Shop-n-Save and obtained a statement from the employee. She advised on April 1 she saw Jones coming into the store. She stated she told Jones that she was not supposed to be in the store. She stated Jones allegedly got mad at her and told her she was going to the corporate office on her. Burge also obtained a jump drive copy of the video of Jones coming into the store. Schmidle reviewed the video and observed Jones entering the store on March 30 and April 1. A copy of the no trespassing ordered was also obtained. A PR bond of $200 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Coty Alan Brown, Thornton, received judgment of a motion by the Prosecuting Attorney to dismiss – Granted by the Magistrate – No fees charged on the case. For one count Domestic Battery. The offense took place in a different county. This case was heard on Aug. 9 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- State of West Virginia verses Matthew Logan Lipscomb, he received judgment of Guilty-plea agreement for one count Domestic Battery. He received a 12 month suspended jail sentence; Day Reporting Center for 12 days. This case was heard on Aug. 2 by Magistrate riley H. Barb.
- State of West Virginia verses Dawn Renee Moore, Cedarville, received judgment of Guilty-plea agreement for two counts obtaining money, property and services by false pretenses. She was assessed fines of $100, court cost of $175.25, credit time served of 44 days and must make restitution to Canaan Valley Resort of $1.900. She also received a judgment of dismissed\plea agreement for one count unlawful injury to or destruction of property. This case was heard on July 29 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
