- Willard B. McVickers, Martinsburg, was cited for speeding (33-25) and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
- Jennifer S. Lawson, Chantilly, Va. was cited for shoplifting by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $175.25.

- State of West Virginia verses Frederick Stephen Herz: He received judgment of No Probable Cause Found for one count obtaining money, property and services by false pretenses which occurred on Feb. 28. This case was heard on July 11 by Magistrate William M. Miller. It was originally reported that this case was heard by Magistrate Riley H. Barb which was inaccurate.
- State of West Virginia verses Wayne Benson: Morgantown, received judgment of no contest plea for one count driving while license suspended or revoked. He was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $175.25. This case was heard on Sept 23 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- St. George Medical Clinic verses Nelson: The court found in favor of St. George Medical Clinic against Benjamin Stephen Nelson in the amount of $352 plus $75 court cost.
- St. George Medical Clinic verses Naylor: The court found in favor of St. George Medical Clinic against Bobbie Jean Naylor in the amount of $238. This case was heard on Sept. 20 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- State of West Virginia verses Kenneth W. Day: Petersburg, received judgment of guilty plea for one count making, issuing worthless checks. He was assessed fines of $1, court cost of $200.25 and restitution of $99.15. This case was heard on Sept. 25 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- State of West Virginia verses William Michael Buchanan: Parsons, received judgment of guilty plea for one count driving vehicle while in an impaired state. He was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $250.25. He received credit of time served for one day. This case was heard on Sept. 17 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
The following case was heard in the Tucker Count Circuit Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Dustin Moran: In the Circuit Court of Tucker County Dustin Moran was sentenced to a term of not less than one year nor more than five years for the offense of Possession with intent to Distribute Methamphetamine. This sentence is to be consecutive to his sentence from Randolph County therefore he should not begin serving time on this sentence until he has exhausted the Randolph County sentence of not less than one year nor more than five years. This case was heard by Judge J.W. Courrier, Jr. on Sept. 11.
