The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- John W. Miller, Moorefield, was cited for no seatbelt by Charles Dyer. He was assessed fines of $25.
- Harold W. Simmons, Elkins, was cited for expired MVI and no insurance by Cpl. J.R. Wince. Both charges were dismissed with proof shown.
- Robert G. McClung, Davis, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. J.R. Wince. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
- Andrea N. Linger, Walkersville, was cited for speeding (29-25) by D.A. Sliwinski. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
- Daniel C. Moore, Parsons, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. J.R. Wince. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Tony B. Lodge, Bowling Green NC, was cited for improper passing by Cpl. J.R. Wince. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
- Chad N. Shaffer, Parsons, was cited for driving too fast for road conditions by Trooper C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
- Daniel L. Protzman, Morgantown, was cited for Expired MVI by Cpl. J.R. Wince. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Jackie Lynn Day, Petersburg, was charged with Driving Revoked for DUI. The complaint states that on Thursday, Jan. 30 at approximately 2:22 p.m. Chief J.E. Kopec was conducting road patrol along US219 when he observed a silver Hyundai Elantra to have an expired registration sticker from November 2019. He pulled the vehicle over for said violation and upon checking the status of the accused, Jackie Lynn Day’s license was found to be revoked for DUI. The revocation date was Oct. 24, 2019. The accused was taken into custody for driving revoked for DUI and cited for expired registration and no proof of insurance. He posted a $1,000 PR bond.
- Robert Dale Poling, Jr., parsons, was charged with Illegal Possession of Wildlife by WVDNR. A court hearing is scheduled for March 4 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
