The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Richard D. Hunt, Hambleton, was cited for unsafe vehicle and no operators carried by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Kelly M. Wolfe, Parsons, was cited for cell phone use by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $100.
- Mistee D. Griffith, Parsons, was cited for expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Frieda T. Myers, Davis, was cited for sale of alcohol by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25 and court cost of $165.25.
- Joseph A. Reeves, Solomons, Md. was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Bryant M. Cummings, Hambleton, was cited for possession of marijuana by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $50 and court cost of $165.25.
- Jennifer A. Dearborn, Davis, was cited for no headlights after dark by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Patricia S. Fulton, Hendricks, was cited for no operators and no child restraints. She pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $25 and court cost of $330.50.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Thomas R. Harsh, Parsons, has been charged with 60 counts of Sexual Abuse by Guardian and 60 counts of Sexual Abuse First degree, both felonies. The complaint states that on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at approximately 11 a.m. Sgt. C.D. Siler received a phone call from an individual concerned about a 17 year old female. At approximately noon Siler and TFC J.J. Schmidle made contact with the victim at the Tucker County High School. Schmidle allegedly obtained a hand written and signed statement from the victim. She advised she had moved in with her grandparent around November 2016. She said that from approximately November 2016 to January 2017, her grandfather, the defendant, had begun to touch and feel her body. She stated he allegedly started by first rubbing her breast and privates on top of her clothes. She advised he allegedly moved onto rubbing her beneath her clothing on bare skin. She said every time this happened she allegedly asked him to stop but he would keep going. She advised this occurred almost every night from November 2016 to January 2017. On one occasion he allegedly made her touch his privates and asked her to perform oral sex. He is under a $120,000 bond and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m.
- Veronica Ann Collins, Terra Alta, was charged with Violation of Personal Safety Order. The complaint states that on Tuesday, Oct. 17, Acting Chief Deputy C.R. Donelson of the Tucker County Sheriff’s office, received a complaint of a personal safety order violation from the victim, Kayla Dibartolomeo. She stated that Margaret Loria allegedly received a text message from the defendant that said she needed to take her kids pictures off her facebook and pass it along to “Trenton’s whore”. Donelson obtained a statement from Loria confirming the same. Loria states that she knew Collins was referring to Ms. Dibartolomeo due to her allegedly referring to her by that name several times in the past. Collins posted a $1,000 PR bond and a court hearinf is scheduled for Nov. 30 at 9:30 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Bryant Michael Cummings, Sutton, was charged with Prohibited Person in Possession of Firearm. According to the complaint, on Saturday, March 25 at approximately 8:30 p.m. while conducting a traffic stop, Cpl. D.W. Burge, of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, observed a Bersa brand semi-automatic pistol on the floor while the defendant was seated. He later found that the firearm was loaded. Burge was allegedly advised by the defendant that he was a convicted felon. He posted a PR bond of $2,000.
The following cases has been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Dusty R. Whitacre, Bayard, received a Guilty-plea agreement for one count Interference with officers or members (WVSP); false information which occurred on Aug. 10. He was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25. This case was heard on Oct. 31 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
