The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

  • Jason M. Cannon, Greenspring, was cited for speeding (76-55) and passing in no passing zone (school zone) by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  He pled guilty on both charges and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $330.50.
  • Mary E. Burrows, Elkins, was cited for speeding (35-25) and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
  • Brian M. Duzza, Washington, DC was cited for speeding (74-65) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.74 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Miranda Snyder, Rowlesburg, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Robert T. Peterson, Davis, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • James C. Buchanan, Fairmont, was cited for speeding (29-25) and expired registration by TFC J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
  • Misty D. Prevatte, Thomas, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Brenda L. Nestor, Parsons, was cited for no insurance and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  Both charges were dismissed with proof shown.
  • Joshua G. Runion, Maysville, was cited for speeding (69-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Diana R. Vera, Elkins, was cited for speeding (55-45) by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Dustin T. Grafton, Hambleton, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.

The following criminal complaints have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • Brian Jones, Parsons, was charged with one count truancy.  The complaint states that one female juvenile did miss 21 full unexcused days at Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School.  He posted a $100 PR bond.
  • Brian Jones, Parsons, was charged with one count truancy.  The complaint states that one male juvenile did miss 24 full unexcused days at Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School.  He posted a $100 PR bond.
  • Melissa Jones, Parsons, was charged with one count truancy.  The complaint states that one male juvenile did miss 22 full unexcused days at Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School.  He posted a $100 PR bond.
  • Deanna Waybright, Parsons, was charged with one count truancy.  The complaint states that one female juvenile did miss 14 full unexcused days at Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School.  He posted a $100 PR bond.
