Calvin C. Lanham, Jr., Mt. Clare, was cited for no MVI and no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
Megan F. Humphrey, Centreville, Va. was cited for speeding (35-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Michael L. Bonner, Parsons, was cited for expired registration and no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.

Derek A. Cornelius, Huntington, was cited for speeding (35-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Jacob I. Hawkins, Fairmont, was cited for fishing without license by WVDNR. He was assessed fines of $20 and court cost of $165.25.
Sereena J. Young, Elkins, was cited for passing in a no passing zone by Cpl. M.A. Roy. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $1.50 and court cost of $165.50.
Leonida Moutsiakis, Lindenhurst, NY, was cited for speeding (35-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Sophia J. Cupp, Elkins, was cited for speeding (35-25) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Jasper Wayne Snyder, Parsons, was charged with one felony count Entering without breaking and one count Joy Riding. The complaint states that on Wednesday, May 30 at approximately 5:20 p.m. the complainant, Bailey Rose Stanton, manager of the Tucker County Animal Shelter, reported to Cpl. J.E. Kopec that the accused, Jasper Wayne Snyder, had allegedly been joy riding in the county vehicle and had entered without breaking the animal shelter after hours causing damage to the facility. A written statement was proved by Stanton summarizing that the defendant resigned from employment of Tuesday, May 29 after being confronted about unauthorized use of Animal Shelter’s Jeep which occurred on Saturday, May 26. She stated that she had knowledge of the defendant getting the Jeep stuck on County Route 41 and being pulled out causing an estimated $1.800 worth of damage to the vehicle. On Wednesday, May 30 the defendant allegedly took the Jeep again after hours, drove it to a gas station pumped $38.97 in gas and charged it to the Animal Shelter and signed the receipt. On Thursday, May 31 Stanton brought video footage of the accused, allegedly entering the Animal Shelter breaking into a locked room and stealing multiple items. He loaded these items into the Jeep and departed the scene. The video shows this incident occurring on May 27. The defendant was read his Miranda rights and a written statement was obtained which he summarizes that he took the Jeep after hours and stole multiple items from a locked room. He gained access to the building u sing his keys. He allegedly admitted to using the Jeep and getting gas without permission to do so. He stated that he resigned from the Shelter previous to him taking the Jeep to look for his girlfriend. A PR bond of $5,000 was posted.
Kristin N. Coleman, Parsons, was charged with one count Driving Suspended for Misc. 3rd offense, one count Obstructing, one count Battery on Officer and one count No Insurance. According to the complaint on Friday, June 1 at approximately 11:53 p.m. Cpl. D.W. Burge was traveling south on US219 when he observed a car crossing the center line on four occasions. He initiated a traffic stop and asked the driver for her license, insurance and registration card. Coleman allegedly advised “Burge you know I don’t ###### have any of that.” Burge has prior arrest on her for driving suspended. He asked her to step out of the vehicle and she advised, “If you ###### arrest me I will ###### kill myself.” He again advised her to exit the vehicle and she allegedly said, “I have to drive to Elkins to cut hair in the morning, please don’t arrest me.” Burge again told her to exit the vehicle and she swore at him and allegedly said she would kill herself. He assisted her from the vehicle by getting her left arm pulling her from the vehicle. She jerked her arm away and attempted to strike him. He caught her arm and attempted to put both arms behind her back while telling her she was under arrest. She kicked backward and struck Burge and he lost his grip on her and she allegedly attempted to hit him with her arms and did kick him again. Burge grabbed her arms and she lunged to the side falling into the roadway. He grabbed her arm she rolled to the side and kicked him again. He pulled her to her feet, placed her face against the vehicle while placing her arms behind her back and placing one cuff on her. She pulled away again and cut his finger in the process. He regained control of her and placed the second cuff on her. He attempted to place her in the cruiser and she cursed and attempted to pull away. He placed her in the cruiser and was kicking him. Coleman kicked between the front seat kicking the police radio and department issued computer. He told her to stop kicking and she cursed at him again. Deputy B.T. Zirk arrived and Coleman was placed in hobble restraints. She was screaming profanities and yelled that Burge had broken her arms and was trying to rape her. She was taken to Davis Medical Center because of complaint of injury. While in transit to the hospital she allegedly advised she was suing Burge for breaking her arms because that is how she gets money. She posted property/surety bonds, cash bonds and PR bonds totaling $3,500.
Wilson Dale Armstrong, Elkins, was charged with one count Domestic Battery second offense and one count Destruction of Property. The complaint states that on Sunday, June 3 TFC J.J. Schmidle responded to Tucker Manor in regards to a domestic battery. Once on scene he made contact with the victim Michelle Ann Lothes. He obtained a statement from her that advised her boyfriend, Wilson Dale Armstrong, and herself had been arguing in the parking lot behind Sheetz. She stated she was on the phone with his aunt when he grabbed her arm attempting to get the phone. She also advised that he smacked her in the left side of her head with an open hand. She said he allegedly hit the windshield of her car cracking it and breaking the rear view mirror. She said a man saw what was happening and yelled at him to stop. Photos were taken of the damage and marks on Ms. Lothes’ arm. A cash bond of $3,000 was not posted.
Wilson Dale Armstrong, was charged with three counts of Violation of Domestic Violence Order. According to the complaint on Monday, June 4 at approximately 8:30 p.m. TFC J.J. Schmidle was contacted by Michelle Lothes in regard to a domestic violence protective order (DVPO) violation. She met him at the West Virginia State Police Detachment and he obtained a written and signed statement from her. She advised her boyfriend, Wilson Dale Armstrong, had been arrested on Sunday, June 3 for domestic battery. She stated after the arrest she obtained a DVPO against the defendant. She advised that on June 4 at approximately 7:16, 7:18 and 7:19 p.m. she received telephone calls from Armstrong. During the first call she told him there was a DVPO, not to call her and then hung up. She said she was worried that he had gotten out of jail and called the number back. It was answered by Tygart Valley Regional Jail. Schmidle contacted the jail and confirmed that Armstrong did have a DVPO served on him at approximately 11 a.m. and he had made the phone calls. A 10% of $6,000 cash bond was not posted.
Thomas Summerfield, Parsons, was charged with one count Truancy. The complaint states that the defendant did fail to cause one juvenile to regularly attend classes at Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School. The child accumulated 27 full unexcused days. A PR bond of $100 was posted.
Maliyah Dane Smith, Parsons, was charged with one count Harassment by Computer, one count Harassment and one count Telephone Harassment. The complaint states that starting around May 18 the defendant began to harass the victim, Leah Jerilyn Underwood by telephone and a computer app. The victim asked the defendant to stop calling and messaging her previously. Underwood blocked the defendant’s number. However the defendant was still able to call and allegedly left five voice mails threatening to assault her and telling her to go kill herself. The defendant also used Snap Chat to communicate with Underwood with the same type threats. The defendant also used Snap Chat messages to friends of Underwood trying to send messages through them. Sgt. Siler met with the defendant at the Parsons Detachment on May 23 and advised her of the investigation. He read her Miranda Rights in which she stated she understood. The defendant admitted to calling Underwood. Siler advised her to stay away from Underwood and not to call, message or harass Underwood in any way. On Wednesday, June 6 Siler spoke to Kelly Underwood, the victim’s mother. She stated that her daughter had purchased 10 t-shirts from the defendant for $10 a couple months ago. The defendant had her younger sister message Underwood telling her she wanted her t-shirts back. This occurred after the conversation between Siler and the defendant. Mrs. Underwood stated that the defendant began to message her that Ms. Underwood still owed her money for the shirts. She received the first message on May 25. The defendant has messaged Mrs. Underwood approximately four or five tomes allegedly attempting to extort more money for the shirts that were sold over two months ago. A property/surety bond of $2,000 was posted.

State of West Virginia verses Joshua Jesse White: He received judgment of Preliminary hearing waived for one felony count receiving or transferring stolen goods which occurred on April 3. Magistrate William M. Miller heard the case on May 30 and there was a $10 fee assessed on the case.
State of West Virginia verses Katie Marie Phillips: She received judgment of guilty verdict for two counts Truancy. She was assessed cost and fees of $430.50. This case was heard on May 31 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
State of West Virginia verses Thomas B. Summerfield: He received judgment of no contest plea for one count making, issuing, worthless checks on Oct. 29, 2015. He was assessed fines of $1, cost and fees of $190.25 and restitution of $17.05. This case was heard on June 5 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
