The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Darrin N. McVicker, Philippi, was cited for expired MVI and no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty to both charges and was assessed fines of $29.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Richard K. Nolan II, Arthurdale, was cited for cell phone use and no valid proof of insurance by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty to first charge and was assessed fines of $100. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Hailey H. Collins, Elkins, was cited for speeding (66-55) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Roy W. Carr, Morgantown, was cited for no proof of insurance by TFC J.J. Schmidle. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Judith Navitskis, Hedgesville, was cited for impeding traffic by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Brian P. Romine, Shepherdstown, was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Richard R. Beasley, IV, Roanoke, was cited for failure to obey traffic control device and over-length highway by Chief Deputy E.C. Surguy. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Christopher Lee Wimer, Riverton, was charged with four counts of violation of a protective order. According to the complaint a protective order was issued against the defendant on April 15. When the victim returned home from obtaining the protective order, there were four messages, with the last message allegedly stating that the defendant was coming to kill her. He is currently housed in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail under a $40,000 cash bond. A bond modification hearing is scheduled for April 28 at 3:30 p.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Christopher Lee Wimer, Riverton, was charged with eight counts of violation of a protective order. According to the complaint, a protective order was issued against Wimer on April 15. Allegedly, Wimer left eight threatening messages on the victim’s phone on April 16. This is a direct violation of a Domestic Violence Protective order issued by Tucker County Magistrate Court. Wimer is being housed in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail under a $30,000 cash bond.
- Marshall C. McClung, Parsons, was charged with operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an approved motor vehicle alcohol test and lock system on April 16. He pled not guilty on April 22 and a court hearing is scheduled for July 9 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following case has been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Jeffrey Yuchek: It is hereby ordered that the alternative sentence of Community Corrections is revoked and that the defendant must serve six months and one day, with credit for 29 days already served, in jail. The case was heard by Magistrate William M. Miller.
