The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate Office:
- Jeremy D. Cussins, Parsons, was cited for no proof of insurance and driving suspended second offense by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $300 and court cost of $330.50.
- Harold G. Butts Jr., Keyser, was cited for failure to obey traffic signal by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Stephen N. Polo, Warrenton, Va. was cited for speeding (75-65) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Andrew W. Ray, Parsons, was cited for cell phone use by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Jeff Jones, Parsons, was charged with one count of Truancy. The complaint states that Jones did fail to cause a minor to attend regular classes at Tucker County High School. The student has accumulated 22 full unexcused days from August of 2016 through March 2017. A PR bond of $500 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for May 4 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Gerald Cosner, Davis, received judgment of preliminary hearing was waived for one felony count failure to register or provide notice of registration changes. This case was bound over to Circuit Court. It was heard on March 29 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- State of West Virginia verses Hannah J. Adkins, Hendricks, received judgment of guilty plea for one count making, issuing, worthless checks which occurred on Dec. 4, 2016. She was assessed court cost of $190.25 and must make restitution of $20. This case was heard on March 28 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
