The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Douglas Jay Wyatt, Jr., of Wardensville, was cited for speeding (54-45) by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Ivan Eye, Jr., of Painesville, Ohio, was cited for cell phone use by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100.
- Derek Ryan High, of Elk Garden, was cited for no seatbelt by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Richard W. Brooks, of Woodbridge, Va., was cited for speeding (54-45) by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Dennis Oscar Sanderson, of Fredericksburg, Va., was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Alexander Edenin Hartman, Huntington, was cited for shoplifting first offense by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $25, restocking fees of $50 and court cost of $165.25.
- Justin Thomas Williams, of Hagerstown, Md., was cited for speeding (74-45) and no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of 4.75 and court cost of $165.25 and fines of $25 for second offense.
- Carla Louise Gaither, of Mt. Storm, was cited for driving suspended by Cpl. M.A. Roy. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
- Juvenile, of Parsons, was cited for possession of tobacco by Sheriff B.K. Wilfong. He was assessed fines of $50 and court cost of $165.25.
- Skylar D. Poling, of Elkins, was cited for cell phone use by Trp. J.E. Kopec. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $100.
- Robert B. Nichols, of Easton, Md., was cited for speeding (54-45) by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost $165.25.
- Jill Kirstin Higgins, of Winchester, Va., was cited for speeding (54-45) by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Steven Warren Rutherford, of Elkins, was cited for no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $25.
- James Andrew Bolinger, of Montrose, was cited for Expired MVI by Dep. C.A. Teter. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Rebecca Leigh Woodarski, of Davis, was cited for no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Simon Ampel, of Thomas, was cited for no seatbelt by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Ronald Dale James, of Davis, was charged with a felony of 14 counts of failure to pay child support. From Dec. 1, 1991 through May 31, 2014 the defendant allegedly did repeatedly fail to provide the court ordered child support for his minor child. According to the criminal complaint James allegedly is in arrears of $11,892.72.
- Thomas Patrick Swingle, of Davis, was charged with several counts including four counts of obstructing officers, two counts of harass or abuse and three counts obscene, anonymous, harassing communications by electronic device. According to the criminal complaint, Swingle allegedly made harassing, obscene and abusive phone calls to Susan Carmale Price. The two had been in a relationship and Price allegedly broke off said relationship. At this time, Swingle began calling and threatening Price. On July 31, Sgt. C.D. Siler, of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, called the defendant and asked him to stop calling and harassing Price. At this time Swingle began cursing and threatening Siler and hung up. Within a few moments Swingle called back to apologize and again became belligerent. According to the complaint, the defendant allegeldly sounded intoxicated during the phone calls. On the same day Siler executed warrants on the defendant and shortly after he was taken into custody, he allegedly became belligerent and was cursing Sgt. Siler and Sr. Trooper J.J. Schmidle. The defendant was told to be quiet numerous times and also allegedly attempted to remove restraints and the seatbelt. Siler had to stop twice to re-secure the defendant in the cruiser.
- Jeffrey Yucheck was charged with Driving under the influence with bodily injury, driving on right side of road and driving too fast. The incident occurred on June 7 and Yucheck posted a $2,500 PR bond.
- Swingle is in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail under a $13,000 bond.
