The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Joy E. Malinowski, Thomas, was cited for expired MVI by K.L. Keplinger. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Dustin J. Suesli, Parsons, was cited for failure to report a crash by Deputy B.T. Zirk. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Troy J. Morral, Jr. Kerens, was cited for speeding (69-55) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Joshua B. Foster, Morgantown, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Amy M. Jones, Parsons, was cited for contributing to delinquency of a minor by Deputy B.T. Zirk. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $50 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Joshua David Hunt, Hambleton, was charged with Battery.According to the complaint, on Monday, Aug, 7 Deputy B.T. Zirk of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department, received a battery complaint from the victim, Rachel Evamarie White. The victim provided Zirk with a hand written and signed statement. She stated that the defendant allegedly came into Mt. Top Sunoco, was extremely drunk and went behind the counter of the kitchen, dancing and went back to the register. She stated that she walked to the back to dump the mop bucket and he followed her back trying to dance. She stated that the defendant wanted to use the bathroom in the mop bucket. She allegedly stated that she went to close the door to the women’s restroom and he came up behind her dancing. She said she was stuck in the doorway, and the defendant smacked her on the behind. She told him not to touch her. Allegedly he attempted to grab her chest and she again told him not to touch her. He posted a $500 PR bond and a court hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Oct. 5 before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Dennis Wayne Watts, Davis, was charged with False Information to State Trooper. The complaint states that on Friday, July 21 at approximately 1:27 p.m. Cpl. J.E. Kopec received a call from Tucker County 911 in reference to a stolen medication report. He arrived at the Davis Fire Department and obtained a hand written statement summarizing that on this date his medication was allegedly stolen from his vehicle, which he left unsecured. He stated that he did not know where this occurred because he had made several stops. There were no suspects listed. Kopec asked the defendant twice if he had ever reported his medication stolen and both times he stated no. Kopec traveled back to the Parsons State Police Detachment and found that on March 2, he did report medication to be stolen from his home with again no suspects.
- Dennis Wayne Watts, Davis, was charged with False Information to Trooper. According to the complaint, on Saturday, Aug. 19 Cpl. D.W. Burge and Deputy B.T. Zirk traveled to Davis after receiving information from Tucker County 911 to serve a warrant on the defendant. Upon knocking on the door of the residence a male subject later identified as Dennis Watts approached the door. Burge identified himself as a WV State Police Officer and asked to speak to Dennis Watts. Watts allegedly advised the officer that Dennis Watts was not at the residence and he could take a message for him. Zirk, having prior dealing with Watts, identified Watts to Burge and he was arrested for false information to Trooper, and for warrants from Cpl. Kopec. A cash bond of $1,000 was not posted and a Bench Trial is scheduled for Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Robert B. Golightly, Davis, received judgment of no contest plea for one count driving to fast for road conditions. He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. This case was heard on Aug. 22 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- State of West Virginia verses Delbert L. Varner, Parsons, received judgment of dismissed for one count indecent exposure due to no evidence. This case was heard on Aug. 22 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- State of West Virginia verses Tammy Lynn Wratchford, Parsons, received judgment of preliminary hearing waived for one count manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/delvier (Schedule I, II, III, other) and one count child neglect creating risk of injury. Both cases have been bound over to Tucker County Circuit Court.
- State of West Virginia verses Heather N. Watson, Parsons, received judgment of guilty plea verdict for one count battery which occurred on May 29. She was assessed cost and fees of $187.05, suspended jail sentence of six months and unsupervised probation for six months. This case was heard on Aug. 17 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- State of West Virginia verses Brian Perkins, Davis, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count miscellaneous offenses for violation of protection order; repeat offenses. He was assessed fines of $250, cost and fees of $165.25 and credit for time served of 30 days. This case was heard on Aug. 22 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- State of West Virginia verses Douglas G. Canon, Davis, received judgment of guilty plea for one count petit larceny which occurred on July 17. He was assessed cost and fees of $165.25 and Community Service of 20 hours with the Tucker County Landfill.
- State of West Virginia verses Brandon L. Bryant, Hambleton, received judgment of guilty plea for one count driving while license revoked-DUI which occurred on June 28. He was assessed fines of $100, cost and fees of $165.25 and 30 days in jail. This case was heard on Aug. 22 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
