The following cases have been assigned to the Tucker County Magistrates:
• Kristie Owens Violation date of Aug.10 for Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She pled Not Guilty and posted a PR Bond of $500. There will be a court hearing on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. The case has been assigned to Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
• Gregory Miller Violaton date of Sept. 12 for DUI. He posted a PR Bond of $500. The case has been assigned to Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
• John Luther Boyles Violation date of Aug. 31 for two counts Domestic violence-Criminal acts-Battery. He posted a PR Bond of $2,000 and a court hearing is set for Dec. 10 at 10 a.m.
• Barbara Card Violation date of Sept. 11 for Certificate of insurance and Driving with license suspended or revoked. She pled Not Guilty to both counts.
The following cases have been Adjudged by The Tucker County Magistrate Court:
• Kimberly Ann DeMent of Davis received Judgment of Dismissed by Magistrate and State of West Virginia of No Fee for one count of malicious or unlawful assault. According to the criminal complaint filed May 14 it states that on May 11, DeMent assaulted Angela Arnold. Case was Ordered and Adjudged on Aug. 1 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
• Jennifer Louk of Hambleton received Judgment of No Contest for one count Making, issuing, worthless checks. Date of violation was June 17 and she received fines of $5, court cost of $190.25 and restitution of $42.26 so ordered and Adjudged on Sept. 17 by Magistrate Nancy Means.
• Orein James Blaney of Terra Alta received Judgment of No Contest for one count Making, issuing, worthless checks. Date of violation was May 17 and he received court cost of $198.80 and restitution of $16.95 so Ordered and Adjudged on July 8 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
• William L. Watson III of Hambleton received Judgment of No Contest for one count Making, issuing, worthless checks. Date of violation was May 24 and he received court cost of $190.25 and restitution of $106.86 so ordered and Adjudged on Aug. 9 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
• Tiffany Coffman of Eglon received Judgment of No Contest for one count Making, issuing, worthless checks. Date of violation was May 27 and she received court cost of $190.25 and restitution of $105 so Ordered and Adjudged on Aug. 12 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
• Matthew Lipscomb of Parsons received Judgment of No Contest for one count Making, issuing, worthless checks. Date of violation was April 13 and he received court cost of $215.80 and restitution of $61.06 so Ordered and Adjudged on May 13 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
• Ian C. McDougal of Beverly received Judgment of No Contest for one count Making, issuing, worthless checks. Date of violation was Aug. 19 and he received court cost of $190.80 and restitution of $96.26 so Ordered and Adjudged on April 5 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following cases have been filed in the Tucker County Circuit Clerk’s Office:
• Timothy R. Daniels came before Judge Phil Jordan for Probation revocation. Counsel asked that Daniels be re-enrolled in the Tucker County Community Correction Program and the State did not oppose but did ask that Daniels’s five year probation period be extended by one year. The Court ordered Daniels back on probation as well as completing the Tucker County Community Corrections program.
• Virgil T. Wills III came before Judge Phil Jordan on Sept. 13 scheduled for Probation revocation but Counsel for defendant was not properly notified and was not in attendance. Court ordered Attorney Frank Bush be appointed to represent Wills. This hearing is to be in front of Judge Lynn Nelson during his October 3 motion day.
