The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Marshall Allen Jones, Rowlesburg, was cited for speeding and no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle. He pled guilty to the first charge and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. He pled no contest to seatbelt charge and was assessed fines of $25.
- Robert R. Poe, Hambleton, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $25.
- Barbara Jo Card, Parsons, was cited for no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Scott T. Schweitzer, Columbus, Ohio, was cited for failure to maintain control by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Jenny D. McCrum, Parsons, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Seth M. Rosenau, Parsons, was cited for driving suspended by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
- Joseph A. Streets, Hambleton, was cited for expired MVI by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Judy Long, Parsons, was cited for window tint by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $20 and court cost of $165.25. A charge of no valid proof of insurance was dismissed with proof shown.
- Carlos H. Pena, El Paso, TX, was cited for striking highway fixture by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Henry P. Cruise, Glady, was cited for no MVI by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. A charge of no proof of insurance was dismissed with proof shown.
- John K. Williamson, Thomas, was cited for highway litter by T.L. Fluharty. He was assessed duties of eight hours cleanup and court cost of $165.25.
- Anthony E. Duke, Thomas, was cited for failure to maintain by Z.T. Cooper. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Kimberly Rivera, Davis, was cited for driving suspended, misc. by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- William George Ball, Jr, Parsons, was charged with Spot Lighting, Hunting without permission and Shooting within 25 yards of vehicle by T.L. Fluharty. According to the criminal complaint, witnesses observed Ball on different occasions allegedly spot lighting, hunting without permission and shooting within 25 yards of his vehicle.
- David Keith Boyles, Parsons, was charged with DUI first offense by Trooper J.E. Kopec. According to the complaint on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at approximately 10:20 p.m. above officer received a call from Tucker County 911 about a one vehicle accident along WV72 . When Kopec arrived on scene a pickup was in the ditch and Boyles was standing outside the vehicle. The officer smelled alcohol as he approached Boyles and asked him if he had been drinking. Boyles allegedly admitted he had a couple. A field sobriety test was administered and Boyles failed parts of the test. Boyles was transported to the Parsons City Police Station. Boyles was additionally charged with no proof of insurance.
- Levi McCauley, Kerens, was charged with Driving while license revoked-DUI; Driving while licenses suspended or revoked; General; Expired MVI; improper registration and no vehicle insurance. A PR bond of $2,100 was posted.
The following cases have been adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Nicole Marie Oliver, Davis, received judgment of guilty plea agreement for one count driving while license suspended or revoked; General. She received a suspended 90 day jail term but must report to Tucker County Corrections for 90 days starting Dec. 18. The violation date was Oct. 28 and a total balance of $315.25 must be paid. This case was Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 18 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
- Matthew James Howell, Beverly, received a guilty verdict for one count Prohibited acts A; penalties. Manufacture (Schedule I and II Narcotics) with the violation date being Sept. 14. Conditions of probation were not met and the total case balance is $191.25. This case was Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 18 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
- Jeffery A. Yuchek, Hambleton, received guilty plea agreement for one count driving under the influence of alcohol (misdemeanor Injury) with violation date of June 7. He was assessed fines of $200 with cost and fees of $281.15. He received a suspended sentence of one year with one year day reporting to Community Corrections. Ordered and Adjudged on Dec 1 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
- Stephen Lamazon, Brooklyn, NY, received a guilty verdict for one count operating motor vehicle below the minimum speed limit with violation date of July 22. Disposition Trial Type was a Bench Trial and total costs of $215.25 must be paid. Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 9 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- Harold R. Harper, Parsons, received a guilty plea for one count of conspiracy to violate Chapter (DNR); withholding information, obstructing officers with violation date of Oct. 18. He has a case balance of $185.25 and case was Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 9 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
