The following citations have been recorded in Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Andrew McKee Fitzgibbon, Montrose, was cited for expired MVI and no valid proof of insurance by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- John Paknik, Morgantown, was cited for public intoxication by Deputy C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $30 and court cost of $165.25.
- Michael Tyler Hicks, Moorefield, was cited for speeding (69-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Travis Mark Riggs, Buckhannon, was cited for driving suspended and no proof of insurance by Chief W.D. Rowe. He pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Lester Todd Marsh, Lancaster, Pa. was cited for speeding (75-65) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Aaron Tyler Hall, Walkersville, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Heather Nicole Stemple, parsons, was cited for cell phone use by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100.
The following criminal complaints have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Delbert L. Varner, Parsons, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure. The complaint states that on both occasions, he allegedly exposed himself on First Street. He posted a $500 PR bond for each charge and a court hearing is scheduled for Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Steven A. Guessford, Parsons, was charged with one felony count of sexual abuse in the first degree and one misdemeanor count of stalking, harassment. According to the complaint, on the felony count, the defendant allegedly slapped the victim on the rear and made obscene remarks to her. The misdemeanor count states that the defendant allegedly grabbed the victim and kissed her on the face and follows her everywhere. The victim is scared of the defendant and has told him several times to quit following her and to leave her alone.
