The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Michael Lee Canfield, Montrose, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- James Franklin Hagen III, Harrisburg, Pa., was cited for speeding (59-55) by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Zachary Galiani, Davis, was cited for no operators and no insurance by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $204.75 and court cost of $330.50
- Eric Shawn Lee, Morgantown, was cited for speeding (29-25) by Sr. Trooper J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Robert Franklin Roush, Ripley, was cited for speeding (64-55) by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Elmer B. Roy, Parsons, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report crash by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
- John C. Helmick, Hambleton, was cited for turning improperly by Trooper J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Eric Lester Mullenax, Parsons, has been charged with three counts of Breaking and Entering. According to the complaint, the defendant did commit to offense of Breaking and Entering onto the property of Southern States in Parsons. The offense allegedly was committed from Thursday, Feb. 26 to March 1, three different times. The defendant allegedly admitted to taking five bags of wood pellets for a total price of $46.54. He allegedly went through locked gates to take the wood pellets. This is a felony offense.
- Terry Eugene Moore, Parsons, has been charged with Destruction of Property and Destruction of Property of Land Boundaries. According to the criminal complaint, Cpl. D.W. Burge, of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, received a call from William Holler on Nov. 24, 2014 reporting the alleged destruction of a survey stake on the boundaries of his land. Burge observed the stake had been removed from its placement on the private property of Holler. Burge also observed a yellow Posted sign laying under the survey stake and orange painted rocks on top of said sign. Burge then observed on the back of the posted sign, a letter written to Holler and signed T. Moore. Holler advised that Moore had no interest in any land connecting with his property, but that Moore has allegedly given him a lot of problems over the last few years with regards to boundaries. He allegedly stated that Moore continuously travels upon his land without permission and attempts to keep Holler from his own land.
- Robert Roy Jr., Parsons, was charged with Brandishing deadly weapons threatening or causing breach of the peace. This offense occurred on Nov. 1, 2014. He was also charge with malicious or unlawful assault; assault battery on the same date. He pled not guilty to the first charge on Feb 27 and no contest to the second charge on Feb. 27. He posted a $1,000 PR bond.
The following case has been Ordered and Adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Jeffrey W. Henry, Bethlehem, received judgment of a no contest plea for one count Driving under the influence of alcohol. The violation date was Oct. 18, 2014 and he was assessed fines of $100; costs and fees of $240.25; a suspended jail term of six months and unsupervised probation of six months. This case was ordered and adjudged on March 4 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
