The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Chad Anthony Pregley, Fairview, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Patrick S. Davis, Parsons, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. M.S. Wetzel. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $200.
- Jessica E. Jolly, Parsons, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Eric T. White, Keyser was cited for speeding (59-55) by Sr. Trooper J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. A second charge of no proof of insurance was dismissed with proof shown.
- Christopher J. Aitobello, Keyser, was cited for speeding (50-45) by Sr. Trooper J.J. Schmidle. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
- James M. Shoemaker, Thomas, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Edward S. Kepner, Thomas, was cited for cell phone use by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100.
- Christopher M. Marcum, Fairmont, was cited for speeding by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaint was filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Darrel Boone Fint, Aurora, was charged with DUI, first offense on Feb. 22. According to the complaint, Cpl. D.W. Burge, of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, was advised that Darrel Fint had parked his vehicle in the middle of US219 near Ben Bush Road with the vehicle running, and was allegedly passed out in the driver’s seat. When Burge arrived on scene, the Thomas Fire Department members were on scene and observed Fint passed out behind the steering wheel. Burge opened the door and when Fint woke up he noticed the presence of alcoholic beverage on the defendant’s breath. Burge administered three field sobriety tests which the defendant allegedly failed. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Parsons Police Department where a secondary breath test registered a .163 BAC. Fint was then transported to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
- Kristin N. Coleman, of Parsons was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 16. A charge of certificate of insurance was dismissed.
The following cases have been Ordered and Adjudged by the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Debra Thompson, of Parsons, received judgment of a guilty verdict for one count of Compulsory Education Offenses; penalties; cost of prosecution; Truancy which occurred between Sept. 18, 2014 and Oct. 16, 2014. She was ordered to pay fines of $50 and cost and fees of $165.25. The case was heard on Feb. 26 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Ernest Howell, of Dailey, received judgment of a No Contest Plea for one count of unlawful acts of licensees – beer sales under 21 years of age which occurred on March 15, 2014. Assessed amounts for charge are fines of $4.75 with cost and fees of $165.25. This case was heard on Feb. 19 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- ECRM LLC verses Knight: On Feb. 19 in this case, the court granted judgment in favor of ECRM LLC in the amount of $4,375 plus court costs in the amount of $95 plus interest of 7% per year on any unpaid balance. The defendant is to vacate the property after Feb. 28. This case was Ordered and Adjudged on Feb. 19 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
- City of Parsons verses Smith: On Feb. 23 in this case, the court granted judgment of Fully Satisfied against Ciara B. Smith. The case was dismissed by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- First United Bank & Trust verses Mick, et al: The court granted judgment in favor of First United Bank $ Trust against Donald E. Mick and First United Bank & Trust against Kristen Anne Mick in the amount of $3,892.13; plus court cost of $70; plus interest of 7% per year on any unpaid balance. The case was heard on Feb. 20 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
