The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Kelly Ann Barnes of Fort Ashby was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The case was dismissed with proof show.
- Dean E. Crowe of Penn Run. Pa. was cited for speeding (55-45) by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Steven Wayne High of Elk Garden was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Brian Keith Besten of Bridgeport was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Michael Ryan Freeman of Parsons was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Dalton James Roy of Davis was cited for tobacco on school property by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He was assessed fines of $50 and court cost of $165.25.
- Michael S. Bates of Montrose was cited fro no seatbelt by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Ashlea B. Wolfe of Parsons was cited for speeding 59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following cases have been assigned to the Tucker County Magistrates:
- Eric Sarlati of Thomas was cited for a misdemeanor charge of No MVI on April 24. On April 28 he pled not guilty and case has been assigned to Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
- Robert J. Doyle of Shepherdstown was cited fro speeding on Feb. 2. He pled not guilty on April 28 and a court hearing has been set for July 22 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following case was heard in Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Paul Wimer was before Magistrate Riley H. Barb on Friday, May 2 for the felony charge of Embezzlement. The charge was reduced to a misdemeanor charge of Embezzlement and Wimer pled guilty to same. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 26.
The following cases have been heard in the Tucker County Circuit Court:
- Kandice Sponaugle was before The Honorable Judge Lynn A. Nelson on April 15 to argue statements be excluded from the record. The court found that statements would not be excluded and jury selection and trial are set for July 15 at 9 a.m.
- David Close Hearing was continued until June 9 at 10 a.m. because they are still awaiting more discovery.
- Michael Hartzell On April 15, counsel for the defense advised that a plea offer had been extended and would likely be accepted. The plea hearing is set for May 5 at 9:30 a.m.
- John Morton On Dec. 13, 2013 the defendant has been convicted and sentenced to the custody of the West Virginia Division of Correction for the felony offense of Second Degree Robbery and ordered that the defendant be and hereby is committed to the custody of the West Virginia Division of Correction. The Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this Order to the Prosecuting Attorney, Ray LaMora III, Timothy Prentice, counsel for the defendant, Tygart Valley Regional Jail and the West Virginia Division of Correction.
