The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
  • Susan N. Michael, Cumberland, Md., was cited for speeding (54-45) by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of 165.25.
  • Brooke Ann Ferguson, Mt. Storm, was cited for speeding (49-45) by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Wayne Gray Huffman, Dry Fork, was cited for bait in restricted area by Sgt. R. Waybright.
  • Jessica T. Linton, Falls Church, was cited for speeding by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Robert M. Judy, Jr., Harman, was cited for expired registration by Sgt. S.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Robert M. Judy, Jr., Harman, was cited for speeding by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.  A charge for no proof of insurance was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Brenda J. Allen, Clarksville, Md., was cited for speeding by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Chad E. Bittinger, Oakland, Md., was cited for speeding (48-25) by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

 

The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

 

  • Phillips A. Phillips, Sr., Davis was charged with false swearing.  According to the criminal complaint, on Monday, Aug. 18, Phillips was filling out an application for a concealed weapons renewal.  The document was submitted to the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department and on that document Phillips allegedly did falsify question number five, which asked “are you under indictment or do you have any criminal charges pending against you.  Phillips answered no to the question when he is currently under indictment for multiple sexual assault charges.

On the bottom of the form it clearly states that falsification of  any information contained within the application constitutes false swearing and is a misdemeanor.  Phillips allegedly did sign the form at the bottom where required.  A PR bond of $1,000 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20 at 10:15 a.m. before Magistrate Carol D. Irons.

  • Kenneth C. Bott, Clarksburg, was charged with fraudulent schemes.  According to the criminal complaint, prior to and on July 31 the defendant allegedly obtained water from the City of Parsons for his residence and the left the city and county and did not pay the bill owed to the City of Parsons.
  • Kenneth C. Bott, Clarksburg, was charged with a felony for fraudulent schemes.  According to the criminal complaint, prior to and on July 31 the defendant allegedly obtained water from the City of Parsons for the Parsons Country Inn with an unpaid bill of $3,039.40.  He posted a $2,000 PR bond.
  • John Dix, Davis, was charged with driving while license revoked for DUI on Oct. 2.  A cash bond of $2,000 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • Elizabeth Lamour, of Chesapeake, Va., received judgment of no contest of Intoxication or drinking in public places on Oct 7.  She was assessed fines of $5 with cost and fees of $165.25.  The case was heard before Magistrate Carol D. Irons on Oct. 8.
