The following citations have been recorded in The Tucker County Magistrate office:
Deborah A. Smith, Aurora, was cited for no insurance and expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $200 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
Kevin D. Morris, Parsons, was cited for speeding (59-55) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Tina M. Mundo, Huntingtown, Md. was cited for speeding (88-65) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Gary L. Carr, Parsons, was cited for no proof of insurance by Deputy B.T. Zirk. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
Julie D. Berry, Davis, was cited for cell phone use and no valid proof of insurance by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $100. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
Troy L. Crouch, Brooklyn Park, MN, was cited for failure to obey traffic control device and no proof of insurance by Deputy C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $204.75 and court cost of $330.50.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Jean Ann Hayhurst, Falls Church, Va. was charged with DUI First offense. According to the complaint On Thursday, Sept. 28, Cpl. J.E. Kopec, of the West Virginia State Police, received a call from Tucker County 911 in reference to a motor vehicle crash on route US48 for a vehicle crashing into a guard rail. When he arrived on scene he observed the defendant sitting in her vehicle. Kopec made contact with the defendant and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. He processed the scene and asked her to exit the vehicle. She had a brace on her foot and could not perform the one leg stand because of it, but she failed the other field sobriety tests that were administered. A preliminary breath test was administered which she failed. She was placed under arrest for DUI and was transported to the Parsons Police Department were a second breath test was administered and it resulted in a B.A.C. of .108. She was processed and then transported to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. A $1,000 PB bond was posted and a Bench trail is scheduled for Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.

State of West Virginia verses Dennis W. Watts, Davis, received judgment of Motion by the Prosecuting Attorney to dismiss was granted by the Magistrate and there were no fees charged for one count Interference with officers or members (WVSP); false information which occurred on Aug. 19. This case was heard on Sept. 28 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
State of West Virginia verses Emanuel A. Huffman, Harman, received judgment of no contest for two counts knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription which occurred on Sept. 30. He was assessed fines of $100 and cost and fees of $165.25. This case was heard on Oct. 3 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
State of West Virginia verses Michael S. White, Elkins, received judgment of Preliminary Hearing waived for one count obtaining property in return for worthless check. This case was bound over to Tucker County Circuit Court. A $10 fee was assessed. This case was heard on Sept. 29 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
State of West Virginia verses Dennis W. Watts, Davis, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count interference with officers or members (WVSP); false information. He received credit for time served of 12 days and was assessed fines of $100 and cost and fees of $165.25. This case was heard on Sept. 28 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
