The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Elmer B. Roy, Parsons, was cited for reckless driving and no proof of insurance by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest to the first charge and was assessed fines of $25 and court cost of $165.25. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Dawn A. Humphrey, Alexandria, Va., was cited for no passing zone violation by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Justina Wimer, Parsons, was cited for expired MVI and no operators. Both charges were dismissed with proof shown.
- Randy M. Paugh, Terra Alta, was cited for no insurance by Chief Deputy E.C. Surguy. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
- n Michael S. Mitchell, Hendricks, was cited for illegally burning refuse and conspiring to violate by T.L. Fluharty. He was assessed fines of $40 and court cost of $330.50.
- Charles T. Chabnik, Horner, was cited for speeding (49-45) by SRT PR J.M. Tallman. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- James E. Williams, Jr., Winfield, was cited for speeding 959-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Ernest Bruce Turner, Hendricks, was charged with Domestic Battery on Thursday, April 23. According to the criminal complaint, between the hours of 10 – 11 a.m. the victim, Anna Marie Wamsley, was at her self storage unit in Hendricks. The defendant observed Wamsley at the unit and allegedly asked the driver of the car to stop. Turner then allegedly climbed a fence and ran to Wamsley. He was screaming at and cursing the victim, at which time he allegedly grasped her left arm and after repeated requests from the victim, he released her arm. Statements were taken from three witnesses. Both individuals have resided in the same residence for approximately ten months. A $2,000 PR bond was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for June 23 at 11:30 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- Matthew L. Lipscomb, Hendricks, was charged with Destruction of Property. According to the criminal complaint, on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 officers responded to a destruction of property complaint at 503 Central Ave. The officer met the complainant, Britni Ball and she stated that she was driving up Quality Hill and got behind a vehicle stopped in the roadway. She drove around the vehicle and turned into a parking area. She states that while she was attempting to back into her driveway she observed a vehicle stop at the top of the alley and heard someone yelling at her. She then claims that the car allegedly came down the alley very fast and almost hit her car. Matthew Lipscomb exited the vehicle and allegedly began yelling and cursing at her. The passenger also got out and began yelling about her child not being in a car seat. Allegedly, Lipscomb walked over to the driver’s side window and began cursing her. At this time, Ball alleges that Lipscomb started hitting her vehicle with his fists, striking it at least twice. The officer observed the damage to the vehicle and skid marks in the alley near the altercation. The officer spoke with Lipscomb and he stated that he did have a verbal altercation with her, but he did not strike the vehicle. The officer received an invoice for the damage in the amount of $567.07 from Performance Auto Body. A $500 PR bond was posted and a court date is set for July 7 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
