The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

 

  • Rebecca D. Wiles, Thomas, was cited for driving suspended and failure to update license by Trooper J.E. Kopec. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $104.65 and court cost of $330.50.
  • Alice M. Rishel, Farmington, Pa., was cited for speeding (54-45) by TFC J.E. Kopec. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Shanna Lee Tacy, Parsons, was cited for phone while driving and no proof of insurance by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled guilty to the first charge and was assessed fines of $100. The second charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Kenneth B. Barron, Somerset, Pa., was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Michael C. Folk, Martinsburg, was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Karen C. Jacobson, Dry Fork, was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Steven D. Sholar, Jackson, NJ, was cited for speeding (49-45) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

 

The following civil cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

 

  • State of West Virginia verses Stephanie M. Poling, Parsons, received judgment of guilty plea for one count of making, issuing worthless checks on Oct. 27, 2014. She was assessed costs and fees of $215.25 and must pay restitution of $70.57. The case was heard on May 8 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
  • Sasnett verses Schmitt: On May 8 in this case, the court granted in favor of Susan Ann Schmitt against John Leslie Sasnett in the amount of $1,500. The case was ordered and adjudged by Magistrate William M. Miller.
