The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Timothy Wayne Myers, of Parsons, was charged with one count of Driving Revoked for DUI-2nd Offense. The complaint states that on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at approximately 2:54 p.m. Sheriff J.E. Kopec was performing routine road patrol along WV72 in St. George when a truck was traveling north at a high rate of speed. He activated his radar unit which indicated a speed of 70 mph. He pulled the vehicle and identified the driver as Timothy Wayne Myers, Jr. Upon a license check it was learned that Myers’ license was revoked for DUI. He had a previous driving while revoked conviction on 11-03-15 from Penbrook Police Department. Kopec arrested him for driving while license revoked for DUI 2nd offense. He was transported to the Parsons State Police Detachment for processing and then to the TVRJ. Myers was also cited for speeding and no proof of insurance.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
