The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Clerk’s office:
Zaden Anthony White, of Thomas, was charged with one count of Domestic Battery and one count of Domestic Assault. According to the complaint on Saturday, Jan. 6, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Trooper R.S. Musgrave was dispatched by Tucker County 911 to 234 Benbush Rd. in Thomas, to a physical domestic. Musgrave was advised it was between father, Timothy White and son Zaden White.
At approximately 1:56 a.m. Musgrave along with PFC Gidley arrived at the address. At this time, the officers were advised Z. White (the son) had left the residence prior to their arrival. Musgrave spoke with T. White (the father) and observed swelling and redness around the face along with lacerations and abrasions. He stated he and his son were drinking in the residence and at one time his son wanted to travel to another location to which he refused. Both parties began to get in a verbal altercation and the son began destroying and breaking items in the residence. He then rushed his father shoving and pushing him into the nearest bedroom and began striking him with a closed fist multiple times to the face. The father said once he was on the ground his son proceeded to kick him in the head, to which point he saw a flash (consistent with being knocked unconscious).
There were two juveniles within the residence who stated to both officers they observed the incident. At this time T White stated he began to call 911 and his son left the residence. On this same date Musgrave obtained a written and recorded statement from T. White, along with pictures of his injuries and the damage done within the residence. This incident occurred in Tucker County
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
