Three local 4-Her’s journeyed to Jackson’s Mill July recently for a fun filled week of 4-H Camp. Alpha II is a State 4-H Camp that is opened to 4-Her’s ten to twenty one years old. Campers travel from all over the state to attend. This year there where exchange campers from China that also joined in the fun.
The purpose of Alpha II is to provide 4-H members with personal development experiences to help them better understand themselves, and to display personal confidence when assuming leadership roles.
Jenna White, Lesley Cale and Will White represented Tucker County 4-H. When asked what their favorite part of camp was they all unanimously said, “Meeting new people.” All three plan on returning to Jackson’s Mill next year!
